PENTECOST May 11, 2008
Prior to His
Ascension, Jesus promised us a gift. The gift, the Holy Spirit, came on
Pentecost to equip us to share "the
Legacy", the
message of salvation through Christ Jesus. God has placed people in our paths,
perhaps Christian mothers or women, who have been touched by the power of the
Holy Spirit and have been instrumental to us in our Christian walk by sharing
their faith. God has placed people in our paths, perhaps non-Christians who are
struggling without the assurance of Christ in their life. They need to be
connected with Christ! With the help of the Holy Spirit we can reach out to
others to share the message of Christ's saving
love. O come let us worship Jesus and be touched by the Spirit so that we might
go and share the heart of the King
